Fuentes is currently the Programs & Curatorial Manager at The New York Art Residency & Studios (NARS) Foundation in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. She works closely with the Founding Director on reviewing applications for NARS’s International Artists Residency, Curatorial Fellowship, and exhibitions open calls. The NARS exhibition program is dedicated to fostering creative expression, innovative practices, and cultural exchange.

In this role Fuentes supports emerging and mid-career artists advance their careers through integrated programs, studio visits, and opportunities for growth and engagement. The NARS International Artist Residency Program is open to both international and US-based artists, encouraging international dialogue that reflects the sentiment of New York as a global city. As a curator, she believes it's important to place New York audiences in front of artists and artwork from all around the world.

She previously served as Program Manager at New York Artists Equity Association (NYAE) and Equity Gallery. In addition to managing educational patron programs, she contributed to exhibition programming at Equity Gallery as part of their curatorial committee. She received her BA in Art History, Theory, and Criticism from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) while working at Mandeville Art Gallery, a long-standing fixture on the UCSD campus with a decades-long history of presenting innovative art. In 2021, she completed her MA in Curatorial Practice at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She has since held roles in art administration, grant-making, and curatorial research with organizations including Contemporary Conservation, The Queens Museum, VIA Art Fund, and the American Federation of Arts. She maintains her practice as a ceramic artist making work at a not‑for‑profit creative production center and community studio in Brooklyn, Powerhouse Arts (PHA).
